Mālolo



Mālolo is the general term for flying fish in Hawaiian. 


Based on the Akoya by Lisa Airplanes, the Mālolo is a two-seat  amphibious plane designed to fulfill the LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) regulation.   Propultion: Rotax 912 ULS 4 cyl, 100 hp piston engine with 4 ft dia, 3 bladed prop.

Basic Instrumentation Reference


1. Battery Switch : requires your thumb print
        (mouse click) to turn on and off the battery.
2. MFD : Click on tabs at top to access
        Systems (engine gauges), GPS or Radios.
3. FSX function buttons : Refuel, Map, ATC,
        Sim Rate Increase, Sim Rate Decrease
        and Kneeboard.
4. Aircraft Switches :
        Green:   Normal position while in flight.
5. Annunciator : for Landing Gear, Overspeed, Stall,
        Spoiler Deloyed, Engine Off, Low Fuel,
        Low Fuel Pressure, Flaps Position and
        Low Oil Pressure.
6. Autopilot display and adjustments: AP is
        master Autopilot switch, adjustments area.
7. PFD : Air speed in Knots, Altimeter in Feet.
        Radio Altitude Ladder:
           Green:     1,500 to 250 feet
           Yellow:      250 to   5 feet
           Red:           5 to   0 feet
7a. Left Informtion Box : Based on the MFD,
        Displays abbrivated system status
            if Radios are selected.
