Manual for Stratojet Excalibur
A: Installation
First
please delete the old/previous version (if installed)!
Unzip the files into a temp folder.
Copy the file “GaugeSound.dll” into your main FS9 folder or / and into your
windows\system 32 folder.
Copy the "Excalibur" folder with the subfolders in your
FS2004\aircraft folder.
Copy the gauges from the "gauge" folder in the FS2004\gauges folder.
Copy the sound files from the "sound" folder in the FS2004\sound
folder (NOT the aircraft\sound folder!!).
VERY IMPORTANT:
YOU MUST COPY THE FILE “GaugeSound.dll” INTO
YOUR MAIN FS2004 FOLDER OR / AND INTO YOUR
WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 FOLDER!
If you don’t do this FS2004 will crash and returning to the desktop after selecting the aircraft.
If you still have problems please verify if the sound files, not the sound files for the plane but the sound files
named "FPDA_Boeing... .wav" has been copied to the flight simulator 9/sound folder!
Emails
with complaints resulting from an incorrect installation will not be answered!!
This plane has been tested with FS2004 only and probably only works correctly
with this version.
I used a Pentium 4 3.8 and a Radeon X850XT PE graphic card. I don't know if
the frame rate is correct with a slower machine.
I used a resolution of 1280x1024 and the FS2004 running in "window"
mode (maximized).
The joystick i used is not a force feedback so i can not set the forces
correctly!
This version has been created only for FS2004. It is probably not compatible
with previous FS-versions.
