Farewell! Air Transat Airbus A310-300 + Final Departure and Arrival | Toronto Pearson Int’lHello everyone! Welcome to this video!

Today we have another unfortunate sight to see; one of the main workhorses of Air Transat’s fleet; their Airbus A310-300’s are finishing up and retiring. Now many of us knew that the planned retirement for these birds was late April of 2020 but to due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) their retirement was sped up to late March 2020.

And so we had it. The final Air Transat Airbus A310-300 commercially scheduled passenger flight; flown by C-GSAT; departed Toronto for Porto with a tech stop in Halifax on the evening 29MAR20 as TSC764 off of RWY 23 at 2114hrs. They returned on 30MAR20 at 1519hrs as TSC765 arriving on RWY 23. Unfortunately, ATC was not aware of their early retirement so no real farewell message was given.

The last Air Transat Airbus A310-300 departure unfolded on 31MAR20 as TSC75 departed from Toronto to Montreal-Mirabel for scrap on RWY 06L at 1319hrs. Before landing at Mirabel, the crew performed a missed approach before landing as a final farewell for an almost twenty years of Airbus A310-300 service with Air Transat. Farewell A310’s!
