BOEING 747 LANDING + DEPARTURE in the SNOW – 5 B747 kick up a Snowstorm Boeing 747` s are always a fantastic sight, especially when snow is around which is quite rare in Germany. Last saturday I had the chance to film a few rare planes at Frankfurt Hahn after a snowstorm crossed Germany a day before.

The Magma Boeing 747 is operated by Air Atlanta Icelandic and departed fully loaded to Greenville/Spartanburg. The take-off run lasted 50 seconds and the B747 used almost the entire runway. The Hahn – Greenville flight operates twice weekly for BMW.

Skygate is a company from Azerbaijan which only operates two Boeing 747`s. I was able to film both of them within just an hour. The arriving B747 (VP-BCI) arrived empyt from Luxemburg after the flight was diverted the day before and the departing B747 headed to Baku (VP-BCH).
