FSX Scenery – KIXD Redesigned Airport And Area. This scenery is my new and latest redesign of the KIXD FSX default airport file for the New Century Airpart in Gardner KS. This does replace a earlier redesign and original redesign I had done and the files can just be removed or override them if you had used either of my earlier versions. At the airport I added, changed and replaced some new and additional buildings, static vehicles and aircraft, added even more parking and some of the objects are from new libraries as stated later in this text. The default airport was less detailed on the airport as well as the surrounding areas in the default. On the surrounding areas I have added lots of business and much more detail and residence and commercial businesses close to the airport for representation of the type of business you would find in that area. I added trains to the area and overpasses over the default interstate that they never have. I put more than 60 hours into this airport and area to make it as detailed and fun to fly around as any airport I have done to date. You do need to add the libraries to your default scenery to get the full effects. There are many additions away from the airport of boats on lakes, churchs and other landmark items. This area is fun to fly low and slow over and enjoy the default scenery along with additions in this redo. General aviation is the normal activity at this airport as well as a reserve army air attachment which I added even more parking than in my pass redesignes. This is also an industry airpark so I added a lot of industry.
