AIRBUS A380 CROSSWIND LANDING on the LEFT GEAR + BOEING 737 Go AROUND and 7 BIG PLANES This Airbus A380 of Emirates had some issues with crosswinds at Amsterdam Schiphol that day but the skilled crew managed to land the A380 on the left gear successfully. The evening light was just perfect and I was finally able to film my first EVA Air Boeing 777-300 and my first Korean Boeing 777. Amsterdam has five runways and usually there are two active runways when these two asian airplanes are approaching Schiphol. Today I was lucky and the yellow DHL Airbus A300 was an additional highlight that evening aswell. 🙂
Also note the Boeing 737-700 of the romanian company Tarom which had to initiate a go around after a wind gust hit the airplane. It was a pretty perfect evening at Schiphol and although I forgot my sunscreen it was worth spending some hours at the most amazing planespotting location in Europe.
