Hello everyone! Welcome to the Rochester International Airshow 2019 where we are continuing it with the closers!
The USAF Thunderbirds, arguably the next best highlight and the show closers took to the skies around 1455hrs and flew a low high show due to the clouds that rolled in around the show box just an hour before they went up. The team did the regular intro, pilot walk up and start before taxiing down and taking off on RWY 22 to my surprise which made it kind of difficult to catch the departures of the four ship and the solos due to all the people in the way.
I do apologize for that since the first few passes had me in the completely wrong location but I was able to move several feet down and catch the rest of the show with ease. A couple of new passes and flyby’s towards the end followed by a different delta break saw the T-Birds finish their performance on a high note as their 4,756th show in team history and show 36 out of 55 for the season.
