FSX – Kansas City International Airport
FSX – Kansas City International Airport. Kansas City International Airport is located in Kansas City, MO (KMCI). A new airport in underway to be constructed on the same site as present airport. The new airport will be a single terminal with gates running from different arms of the terminal like newer modern-day airports. At present KMCI has three separate terminals and you travel between them on buses. Security is at each individual gate; the new airport will have a single area to enter through security. Terminal A has been closed for some time and is the site of the first part of the new terminal construction. The new airport is supposed to be fully operational by 2022. This is just a concept of the new airport to replace the present default triple terminal airport with a new single terminal airport. This is my own design and not anyway a duplicate of what is to come. I have removed all default terminals but all runways and taxi ways stay the same. All new gates have been identified and coded for the different airlines serving KMCI at this time. I have modified both the cargo area and general aviation area parking and buildings. I have added hotels and other business off airport and on airport areas. A lot of eye candy has been added for your flying fun.
