SKIATHOS 2019 – LOW LANDINGS and JETBLASTS vs. PEOPLE – The EUROPEAN ST. MAARTEN(4K)Skiathos Airport or as I call it “the european St Maarten”. might be the craziest airport in Europe. Many people underestimate the power of the jetblasts and are surprised when the Airplanes accelerate. This year it didn` t rain for days and that` s why the ground was extremly dry. Hugh dust clouds were kicked up when the airplanes departed and most people tried to hide behind a wall when they realized it wasn` t the best idea to stand right behind a departing airplane.

Skiathos is very interesting for aviation enthusiasts and after we filmed the extremly low Embraer E190 of British we also had the pleasure to get our cameras covered by lots of dust :D. Especially the Boeing 737-400 of Air Horizont caused a sandstorm during its departure at Skiathos.
