P3D V4 – Baghdad International Airport-ORBI
P3D V4 – Baghdad International Airport-ORBI. Baghdad International Airport (IATA: BGW, ICAO: ORBI) is Iraq’s largest international airport, located in a suburb about 16 km (9.9 mi) west of downtown Baghdad in the Baghdad Governorate. It is the home base for Iraq’s national airline, Iraqi Airways. Within the airport there is a separate enclave called the New Al Muthana Air Base where No. 23 Squadron IqAF is based with three Lockheed C-130E Hercules transport aircraft and the home to a number of Sukhoi Su-25’s. This scenery is an attempt to improve the stock airport by adding more parking, correcting ramps, taxiways, taxi signs, vehicle roads, adding buildings, vegitation, ramp lighting, Iraqi Airways airstairs, a modified stock bus into an Iraqi Airways bus, water channels, ponds, static aircrafts and vehicles. Nav aids and ILS approches are still the default stock, didn’t want to mess with the stock NAV data, just added a current VOR/DME BGW.
