RARE! Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-412F Takeoff RWY 05 @ Toronto Pearson Int’l March 24, 2018Well, here is a really cool catch! An Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-412F, here’s how it all unfolded:

I woke up around 1100hrs when a bunch of my crew messaged me that an Air Atlanta Icelandic Boeing 747-412F had landed on RWY 05 from Tallinn around 1049hrs or so in the morning. I knew I had missed it but it was due out with a 1410hrs departure to Frankfurt-Hahn so I knew I was not going to miss that. When I headed out to Toronto Pearson Int’l, I got some vids of it parked at Gate 501 at the Cargo West before hearing his clearance off of RWY 06L which changed to a RWY 05 departure as they had to re-file something in the flight plan. That was horrendously unfortunate since many of us were expecting a RWY 06L departure but I settled for RWY 05, catching him taking off from RWY 23 at the Parking Garage.
