Canadian International Air Show 2017 Airshow Arrivals August 31, 2017Hello everyone! Welcome to this video! Here we have the annual Canadian International Air Show making its presence known to Toronto once again. And once again, we were out for arrivals and here’s how they happened. The USAF F-22 Raptor Demo Team was scheduled for 1030hrs and they did not come late at all with a RWY 06L call for landing, and just as we got there they deviated and went to view the show area downtown which bought us more time. They returned to RWY 06L ten minutes later with an overhead break and landed RWY 06L, RAPTOR1 and RAPTOR2. The Snowbirds were then scheduled in for 1100hrs from Brantford but they were delayed for 1500hrs, since I knew I wasn’t going to be able to get them cause of some other things I had to take care of in the day, I filmed the two spares, SNOWBIRD10 and SNOWBIRD11 coming in for a RWY 33R pass and break to land. Next came the RCAF CF-18 Hornet Demo Team. HORNET1, inbound from Brantford with a scheduled arrival time of 1100hrs but came in at 1200hrs. We nearly missed him on Arrival until we heard from someone who was listening to Tower that they were making space for an F-18 to come in. And that was him, a RWY 33R overhead pass with a break to land, fantastic! To conclude the day off we headed to the North Lounge to get some shots off the aircraft parked before leaving. The east side of the lot is easily view able with the west side being completely closed off by Chartright due to a black tarp cover.
