IN THIS VIDEO: Hello everyone! Welcome to the next act. This is Manfred Radius performing his Sailplane Aerobatics in his own Glider. Manfred was towed into the air by Murray Kot and his 1956 Cessna L-19E Birddog. From 6,000 feet, Manfred was let loose and he flew his Glider through the routine, talking to the audience all the way. Manfred flew in a glider for the first time at 17 years of age in Germany and has loved it ever since. If my math is right he is somewhere around 70 years old and has accumulated over 2,000 hours in over 60 types of sailplanes. A job well done to Manfred who landed his plane to a standing ovation from the crowd. Enjoy the video everyone and I’ll catch you all in the next act!
