Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i Takeoff RWY 24R @ Toronto Pearson Int’l January 31, 2016Hello everyone! Continuing spotting on January 31, I decided to stay to catch the departure of the Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i D-ABYL along with a few other people. When he called in for Clearance, he called in with a PDC, so we didn’t get a RWY but I knew he was going off of RWY 06L so we got to the end of RWY 24R since it was cloudy over by RWY 06L and we figured if he rotated early, he would disappear in the clouds. And sure enough, we were right. Lufthansa taxied up to RWY 24R, took off, rotated early and climbed out of Toronto like crazy. By far the most biggest climb out I’ve ever seen from the Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i. Anyways, Enjoy the video everyone and I’ll catch you in the next one! 😀
