Skiathos Airport – Plane Spotting Paradise | TRAILER | Epic Low Landings and JetblastAs long as I can remember, I have always labeled Skiathos as “the Second St Maarten” for quite a few reasons. After my fifth summer spotting at the airport, I have realised that it is about time to give Skiathos the recognition it deserves on its own. The phrase “St Maarten, the Second Skiathos” might not be that unrealistic at the end of the day! In addition, it has always been a tradition of mine after each spotting trip to Skiathos to produce a short film/trailer featuring the best bits and the best catches. Therefore, I invite you once again to enjoy the thrill of standing directly below a landing aircraft passing a few feet over your head and being blasted by a pair of powerful jet engines as aircraft take off right in front of you. Watching people being blasted, falling over, and running like crazy is particularly entertaining! Enjoy the thrill of watching masses of metal passing right over your head, and literally get “blown away” by the insane jetblasts, while the pilots increase the throttles to full thrust!
