These planes were designed to fly to airports with unpaved runways which are hard to reach for normale aircrafts. When these Antonovs land on unpaved runways the engines don` t suck in sand and small stones from the ground. That` s why the engines are above the wings. This aicraft belongs to “Second Sveridlovsk Air Enterprise” and operated a Cargo charter flight from St. Petersburg to Düsseldorf. A very welcome visitor!
