The final leg from my American adventure in December 2014. On-board DY7016 from New York John F Kennedy to London Gatwick, UK on Saturday 13th December 2014. PLEASE READ:
After a spectacular 8 days exploring the East Coast of the USA, it was time to head back to London. We arrived at JFK 3 hours before our scheduled departure time – however the aircraft arrived late from LGW meaning we was over an hour late pushing back from Terminal 1.
Once airborne we climbed to 41,000 feet, leaving the USA behind bound for Europe. I fell asleep meaning I missed sunrise (sorry!) – the arrival back into London Gatwick was smooth & refined – row 22 is perfect for a fantastic wing view! We landed into London around 6 hours 50 minutes after leaving JFK.
It was a fantastic flight with Norwegian Airlines and on the 787 Dreamliner – I will certainly be travelling with them again in the near future!
