Civil Air Patrol Cadet Flights | D73 – 3J7 | Cessna 182
About the flight: As a part of Civil Air Patrol you get to fly ten free flights. Five are glider flights, and five are powered flights. I have already completed all of my glider flights as of September 7, 2014. Now it’s time to move up to the Cessnas. Being my first flight, it was fairly simple. I was able to take control of the aircraft, make a few turns, ascend and descend, and basically do what ever I wanted (with the instructor’s approval of course.) I apologize that there is no video of me flying… I really need a GoPro. 🙂
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video of the first leg of the journey from Monroe-Walton County Airport (D73), down to Greensboro Regional Airport (3J7).
