Incredible First Class HD Boeing 777 Takeoff From Los Angeles On United Airlines!!!
What a phenomenal takeoff! Watch as we roll down runway 25R at LAX, rotate with a great view of the Tom Bradley International terminal and climb out over Dockweiler State Beach and the Pacific Ocean! You can see many Delta, United and American airplanes scattered throughout the LAX southern terminal complex! You can also see a couple Qantas aircraft at the gate after their long flights from Australia! Listen to the amazing Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines on this takeoff! This was my first flight on board a 777 with Pratt & Whitney engines and my first flight on a non ER or LR 777! That’s right, this is one of the original 777 aircraft! The flight was great and it went by very quickly! The cabin was set up in United’s Hawaiian 777 configuration! The seats were not lie-flat nor did they have personal TV’s but they were fine for a 5 hour daytime flight! On board they served breakfast complete with an omelet, yogurt and a cinnamon roll! A snack basket and beverage service were also offered! The service was excellent on board! A light cloud layer hovered over the Los Angeles area this morning which can be fairly typical on a morning in Southern California! Filmed from the First Class cabin on board United Airlines! Flight 641 to Honolulu. 9/21/14.
