AFI KLM names Benjamin Moreau CEO of CRMA
Benjamin Moreau has been appointed Chief Executive of AIR FRANCE KLM Group subsidiary CRMA. Founded in 1957 and based in Elancourt, CRMA has a workforce of over 300 and specializes in the repair of engine parts and assemblies, especially those of CFM Engines, Very Big Engines (GE90, GP7200) and in aircraft component overhaul.
An alumnus of the Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace, Benjamin Moreau worked as a consultant at A.T. Kearney prior to joining AFI KLM E&M in 2002. He started out here as a project manager in the Avionics department. Two years later, he was put in charge of the Avionics Repairs department where, inter alia, he was responsible for developing and implementing a new organization designed to encourage greater self-sufficiency and improved team-work. In 2007, Benjamin Moreau was appointed Project Management Officer (PMO) in the joint AFI KLM E&M sales organization in Amsterdam. Between 2008 and 2010, he scored a number of commercial successes as head of Key Account Sales, boosting average annual sales to “non-airline” clients (aircraft leasing companies, governments, aircraft manufacturers and OEMs) by around 60%.
In 2010, he moved to head up Customer Support and Product Performance in the Components Division. During his time there, he was responsible for component support for over 60 clients and 900 aircraft.
