Every landing is normally followed by a takeoff! After the unexpected full stop landing of this Aegean Airbus A320 at Tatoi Airhsow, the A320 backtracked and taxied on the runway, then rolled on full power for an impressive shortfield takeoff!

It has been routine for an Aegean Airlines Airbus A320 to visit the airshow at Tatoi Airfield every September for a series of low passes, and even a touch and go the last time. But nobody expected the airliner to pull its speedbrakes up and hit the reverse for a full stop landing! Not only did the pilot touch down well after the beginning of the short runway, but the A320 stopped so quick he had to let it run to reach the end of the runway and backtrack! That is what I call a shortfield landing! Watch the aircraft taxi back and wave to the pilots as they wave to you, as the aircraft heads back to the beginning of the runway they landed on (03 of LGTT) and lines up. After a couple of minutes of anticipation, the aircraft finally started rolling with full TOGA power: watch this Airbus A320 lift off in a matter of seconds as it performs an impressive shortfield takeoff leaving the crowd behind amazed!
