Due to my 2 year “break” from gliding I had to go through some basic manoeuvres before being allowed to solo. In this video, my instructor and I go through the symptoms of a stall and the strange sensation of 
“mush stalling” where the stick is on the backstop with the aircraft developing a gentle rate of descent while in a continuous sustained stall. This video also includes the winch launch filmed from the cockpit, as the aircraft is launched up to 1200 feet in less than 20 seconds!
