Wonderland – Chicago O’Hare International Airport

A Thank You to Planespotters:
What is your favorite airport and where do you go to watch airplanes? an air force base? your backyard? a quiet airfield? a regional airport? a busy international airport? an air force base? a tangle of ramps and taxiways? Does it come equipped with a bright and busy major terminal decked-out in state-of-the-art architecture with plush lounges, a local FBO or a few old hangers lined up on one side of the field? is it a seaplane base? is it a small grass strip? an airstrip in the mountains? how about a helicopter pad? are its runways concrete or asphalt? is its control tower one of the tallest in the world? does it have a control tower at all? does the sound of a cracking mic on a unicom spell your happy place? Maybe it snows or rains there a lot. Be it across a sea, a two-hour drive, a little bicycle ride down a dirt road and a leap over a picket fence away or maybe even down a “rabbit hole” like mine….

Whatever your airport wonderland is, THNX for

If I could have it my way I would spend all my time flying and traveling but since I can’t, a trip to my airport wonderland or watching new aviation videos on YouTube 😉 satisfies my craving every now and then. Good thing I try to take doses often.
