U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds Rockford AirFest 2014 – Various Airshow Demonstration Highlights

Makes me smile to see the USAF Thunderbirds’ F16s back in action this season!!

There’s no ground show is featured in the video because all the seating area near the lineup was reserved for special company functions and event tents. 

Note: I was thinking of filming the full show but ended up only going with some of the highlights instead. Maybe with some practice and after a few more tries I can make a complete show video that’s worth it. If this is what I can do with a gray, overcast sky, almost no practice, and a $200 camera,…… For now, please enjoy! All I can say is that filming these wonderful pilots is addicting. 

Note: A few of the maneuvers are cut slightly short because I was really trying to film the sneak passes primarily and always had to be scanning for the solos. Out of three, I got two so I guess not bad for my first attempt. On the third one my camera wouldn’t focus fast enough. Oh well! 😀
