Turbulent Flight to New York
Turbulent Flight to New York
If I had known, that so many people from all over the world would watch this video, I would have used the english version of the captains announcement. So here is the translation:
The pilot explains that we could not climb to a less turbulent altitude because there was an aircraft above us. Other aircraft around us also reported turbulences so the only option was to reduce speed and to fly through the turbulent area. After that he advices us to fasten seat belts and stow our stuff.
And after some comments that there is no turbulence:
Yes of course, the worst was over! I couldn’t hold my camera before because I needed both hands for my tray and beer can. There are far more spectacular turbulence-videos on YouTube but those are filmed with cellphone-cameras. I use a professional camcorder with a great steadyshot. It is designed to let turbulence look like there is no turbulence. Sorry for that. 😉
