737 Crash landing: Some of the best flying you will ever see…

These two reports cover the harrowing Piedmont Airlines 737 flight where the left main gear became stuck and some amazing flying took place. In an interview after the landing, the pilot said he turned off the anti lock brake system so he could “blow” the tires on the right side main gear to help increase drag, to assist keeping the plane travelling straight after the left side engine made ground contact.
