FlightMap For Android Now Supports Prepar3D

aviation_newsVine Ripe Software is happy to announce that FlightMap for Android now has full support for Prepar3D. All of the great features our users have come to know and love for FSX can now be used with Lockheed Martin’s simulator through an update to the free FlightConnect server software.

FlightMap 1.7 was also released recently. The main focus for this version was performance optimization and a few new features, GPS waypoint ID to the display replacing the current course to steer. New follow aircraft to round out the jet population. Improved the compass rose display on each of the map types. ETE display.

FlightMap is a useful navigation utility and moving map for Flight Simulator X. FlightMap provides second screen functionality plotting your simulated location on top of Google Maps as you fly in real time. It also displays important navigational information like airspeed, altitude, and direction while you fly.

FlightMap is currently available for 10 inch Android 4.0 or above tablets on the Google Play Store. There is also a fully functional trial version available on the play store as well. The trial version will work for 5 minutes and then stop receiving updates from the server.
