Baltic Aviation Academy approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Philippines
Aviation training centre Baltic Aviation Academy continues its rapid expansion and enters another aviation training market by being approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Philippines (CAAP).
According to the certificate, Baltic Aviation Academy complies with the requirements of the Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations and Implementing Standards Part 3 to provide the following type rating training courses: Airbus A319/A320/321, Airbus A330, Airbus A340, ATR 42/72/432-320/72-500, Boeing B 737-300-900W, Boeing B 747-400, Boeing B 777-200ER, DHC8 – 400.
Philippines islands are greatly spread out creating a huge demand for air travel. Country’s fleet is mainly focused on the Airbus family aircraft as these types of aircraft compiles up to 70% of all Philippine fleet. Moreover, according to CAPA, the expansion of the fleet is predicted to grow continuously, as more than 100 aircraft are on order at the moment.

With the recent approval Baltic Aviation Academy takes another confident step expanding its activity in the Asia Pacific region. Just recently the Academy has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of China. In addition to these approvals, training course completion certificates issued by Baltic Aviation Academy are valid in the European Union, Israel, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus and Afghanistan.
