Bombardier lands at the 2013 International Paris Air Show

aviation_newsBombardier is proud to join its customers, suppliers, government officials and media representatives in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the International Paris Air Show. During this biennial event, Bombardier will showcase its vision for the future of mobility with its innovative, iconic and sustainable aircraft.

“We arrive at the Paris Air Show at a very exciting time in our company’s history,” said Guy C. Hachey, President and Chief Operating Officer, Bombardier Aerospace.

“With a number of important milestones close on the horizon, including the first CSeries aircraft flight, we’re taking this opportunity to connect with many of our stakeholders, share our enthusiasm for the future and showcase the great progress we are making on product development, our international growth and our commitment to leadership in customer satisfaction.”

The three aircraft from Bombardier’s portfolio of industry-leading products to be featured on static display include the Global 6000 aircraft, a leader amongst its peers in the ultra long-range business jet category, the technologically advanced Q400 NextGen turboprop and the CRJ1000 NextGen jet, the most recent addition to the world’s most successful regional aircraft program.

In addition, guests will have the opportunity to experience first-hand the future of business and commercial aviation travel by visiting the mock-up of the recently launched Challenger 350 business jet and the CSeries pavilion, which is co-located with the static display and dedicated to Bombardier’s all-new CS100 and CS300 commercial aircraft.

The International Paris Air Show runs from Monday, June 17, to Thursday, June 20, for trade visitors and Friday, June 21, to Sunday, June 23, for public visitors. The Bombardier chalet, aircraft static display and CSeries pavilion are located at A-282 will be closed on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23.
