PT-17 Stearman at 3NJ9

During the weekend of April 27-28, 2013, a farm and field day was held at the Allen Airstrip, just off of one of the major county routes in Vincentown, New Jersey. Available for purchase were short rides in a PT-17 Stearman, flown by the father of a very good friend of mine.

This video shows several flight sorties that he flew with the Stearman in and out of the little grass airstrip. A couple other aircraft were parked right next to the grass runway, and as you can tell, I was able to shoot video with a smaller video camera from just off of the runway. If you’re a fan of Stearmans with 220hp engines, this video should rank among the top.

I apologize for the very short black or white blips that may or may not appear in the video, as they are caused by dropped frames.
