Closer to the customer: new Corporate Sales structure at airberlin
Business client sales at airberlin have been restructured under the leadership of Stefan Magiera, Vice President Corporate Sales. “The requirements of business travel agencies and travel offices are becoming increasingly complex against the backdrop of cost reductions and flexibility.
The business travel sector is very important to airberlin and we intend to offer companies tailor-made solutions for their business processes both through our reinforced team and our differentiated structures,” explained CCO Paul Gregorowitsch, commenting on the expansion in personnel.
Jochen Hinz, who recently worked for American Airlines in the United Kingdom, is now responsible for leading the Business Sales & TMC Relations department. His team will now be the first point of contact for business travel agencies and business services. The new Key Account Management department is led by Kathrina Pfeifer, who was previously responsible for the field sales force as Team Leader at airberlin. Together with five Key Account Managers, Pfeifer will look after the major airberlin business clients and their implants as well as continuing to improve the service for major clients. Tino Dracker takes on the responsibility for the business points and MICE corporate products as well as marketing communications to companies and travel agents. He has already been working for airberlin since 2008 and was recently involved with the introduction of the business points programme. He is also responsible for the Sales Support Team.
