UAC results 2012: commercial aircraft sales share in overall revenue increased three-fold
In 2012 share of commercial aircraft sales in overall UAC’s revenue increased three-fold. The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has fully executed the state defense order. Deliveries for the Ministry of Defense increased two times compared to 2011. UAC’s revenue for 2012 has increased by 10% to approximately 180 billion rubles.
The UAC’s Board of Directors summarized the Company’s 2012 results. In 2012 the share of commercial aircraft sales has surpassed 10% of total revenue for the first time in the Company’s history, increasing three-fold if compared to 2011.
The Board of Directors approved of UAC’s proposal for the consolidated state order for commercial and transport aircraft till 2020. In 2013-2015 UAC plans further revenue and deliveries growth. By 2015 commercial aircraft sales should amount to 20% of the Company’s revenues.
UAC’s top priorities for 2013 are state defense order completion and efficient execution of the key military, transport and commercial aircraft development and manufacturing programs.
In 2013 UAC plans to further consolidate its strategic and special aviation production assets and launch transport aircraft production assets consolidation. In the segment of combat aviation the Company has completed JSC “Sukhoi” Company” assets reorganization and plans to consolidate “Sokol” within JSC “RSK “MiG”.
