The work will take place over the next several months with a detailed workscope that includes a 12-Year Maintenance Check and landing gear overhaul, a new Cabin Management System (CMS), new In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) replacement of all VIP passenger seats and refurbishment of all soft goods in the aircraft interior.
“Although AAC was not the original interior outfitter for this aircraft, the customer brought it to us for its nine-year check. Their decision to use AAC for its 12-year check and other extensive refurbishments underscores our craftsmanship and ability to provide our customers unparalleled support,” said Chris Schechter, Vice President & General Manager, Associated Air Center. “In addition, our vertically integrated system allows us to complete this major maintenance and overhaul scheduled event in parallel with extensive cabin and cabin systems refurbishments, reducing the customers down time.”
