Camiel Eurlings appointed KLM President & CEO

f6129936ed627a312d1c4a1a1325b633Based on a decision taken by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ Supervisory Board on Wednesday, Camiel Eurlings is appointed President & CEO effective 1 July 2013. He will succeed Peter Hartman who has held this position since 1 April 2007.

As of 1 July 2013, KLM’s statutory Board of Managing Directors will then consist of Camiel Eurlings, Pieter Elbers and Erik Varwijk. Mr Eurlings joined the KLM board on 1 July 2011. Peter Hartman will remain in KLM’s service until he retires on 1 January 2014. P. Hartman will retain his seat on the AIR FRANCE KLM Board of Directors and, in this capacity, will continue to be closely involved in the development of AIR FRANCE KLM.
