ExecuJet completes Boeing Business Jet sale in record time
Swiss-headquartered ExecuJet Aviation Group celebrated a successful month after sourcing, securing and delivering a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) in less than six weeks.
ExecuJet’s worldwide sales division, ExecuJet Aircraft Trading, had to work quickly to ensure the aircraft was delivered by the end of January, after first being approached by the client in December.
ExecuJet delivered the aircraft on time for the first flight on 28 January and the BBJ departed Europe on its first long-haul flight to South Africa on 31 January. The aircraft performed flawlessly and the owner is delighted with his acquisition. ExecuJet Europe has now been appointed to manage the BBJ on behalf of the owner.
“There was a lot to get done in a relatively short space of time. As well as sorting out the pricing and deal structure and the signing of the purchase agreement, the Pre-Purchase Inspection had to be performed and discrepancies rectified, we had to restock the aircraft and register it in the new owner’s name, and we had to put an experienced crew together. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jet Aviation and SR Technics for their support and hard work in assisting us with this project,” said ExecuJet Aircraft Trading’s Pascal Bachmann, Sales Director Europe.
“This is not the first time we have been put under such pressure to source and deliver an aircraft. This confidence in ExecuJet from buyers confirms our commitment to offer the best possible service,” added Andrew Hoy, Managing Director – ExecuJet Aircraft Trading.
