Vueling thanks its passengers To celebrate the milestone, Vueling organised a photographic competition through social media platform Facebook and Instagram, to transform the fuselage of an Airbus A320 aircraft into a piece of art at 30,000 feet high. Lluís Pons, Marketing Director, Vueling said: “We are very happy to have reached the figure of 50 million passengers and by way of thanks we have commissioned this amazing piece of art. This figure undoubtedly represents a major milestone for the company, especially in these difficult times where Vueling has opted to grow both in number of routes and flights.” The result was more than 200 selected photographs from more than 6,000 entrants, forming a mosaic on the fuselage of the aircraft Airbus A-320s EC-JZQ, as well as 50 prizes of return flights to any destination on the Vueling routemap.
