Customers traveling on Croatia Airlines will also receive expanded access to the United States. Flights are available for sale on www.usairways.com for travel beginning today. US Airways’ Dividend Miles members will earn and can redeem miles when traveling on flights operated by Croatia Airlines.

US Airways customers will be able to connect to Zagreb on Croatia Airlines flights from Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London-Heathrow, Munich and Zurich. Equally, Croatia Airlines’ customers traveling from Zagreb will have access to US Airways’ East Coast hubs of Charlotte and Philadelphia when traveling from these European destinations. Croatia Airlines will also add its code on US Airways flights from Philadelphia to Cleveland, Detroit and St. Louis. In the future, US Airways and Croatia Airlines intend to expand their relationship to include flights to and from Dubrovnik and Split.

“US Airways’ new codeshare agreement with Croatia Airlines will provide our customers with expanded options to reach Zagreb, the capital of the Republic of Croatia, with a convenient single-ticket purchase,” said Andrew Nocella, US Airways’ senior vice president, marketing and planning. “As a fellow Star Alliance member carrier, US Airways has a standing relationship with Croatia Airlines. We look forward to strengthening this bond and expanding travel options to our customers visiting Croatia and for Croatia Airlines customers visiting the U.S.”

“We believe that collaboration with US Airways will create a new quality of services that satisfy passengers on both continents,” said Tonko Rilovic, executive vice president of sales, marketing, network and revenue management for Croatia Airlines. “Joint code-share flights provide passengers with even more favorable conditions for travel between Croatia and the United States via the major European hubs. This intercontinental agreement is particularly important for Croatia Airlines because it gives the company an even stronger presence on the US market, which further improves the quality of commercial products.”
