Carpatair is introducing the first Boeing 737-300 aircraft starting May, 25

 Carpatair, the full-service airline with its hub based in Timisoara, is introducing, starting this month, the first Boeing 737 aircraft, configured in 148 seats capacity. This aircraft is meeting in the best way Carpatair’s current and future needs, allowing the company to carry more passengers on existing routes and provides the flexibility to develop longer range routes. 


“The new type of aircraft, Boeing 737, will offer us, both the possibility of accessing new markets and to significantly reduce direct operating costs. The first Boeing 737 aircraft will be flying on Carpatair routes starting May 25, 2012. Initially we will use these aircraft on existing routes, while later during the year we are going to launch new routes dedicated to Boeing 737 aircraft”, said Nicolae Petrov, President & CEO of Carpatair. 

The first commercial flight will be operated by Carpatair on the route Timisoara-Milan(Bergamo, on May 25.
