airberlin doubles nonstop flights from Berlin to Israel

Starting today, airberlin offers even more flights from Berlin to Tel Aviv and thereby expands its route network to Israel. Germany’s second largest airline will double the number of flights to the Israeli metropolis and increase the connections from three to six nonstop flights per week.

airberlin CCO Paul Gregorowitsch: “Israel is a strategically important market for airberlin. Since the start of the first nonstop flights from Berlin to Tel Aviv in the summer of 2009, airberlin’s connections to Israel from Germany and Austria have consistently expanded. The doubling of Berlin to Tel Aviv flights from three to six weekly will contribute to bringing Germany and Israel even closer together. The airberlin group’s extensive network also offers passengers additional connection options from the Berlin, Dusseldorf and Vienna hubs.”

Also this summer, airberlin will fly nonstop to Israel from Dusseldorf, Cologne and Munich two times per week and three times per week from the Austrian capital of Vienna. For those travelling from Tel Aviv, the airberlin group’s hubs in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Vienna offer excellent connections to cities such as Copenhagen and Stockholm, as well as to destinations in Italy and Spain. Similarly, through the Berlin and Dusseldorf hubs, travellers can reach numerous cities in the USA such as the new airberlin destination Las Vegas, as well as Los Angeles, Miami and New York. From the USA, airberlin passengers have a variety of codeshare options with oneworld® partner American Airlines.
