TRANSAERO AIRLINES LAUNCHED MOSCOW – LOS ANGELES FLIGHTS
Dmitry Stolyarov, Transaero’s Deputy General Director, who arrived to Los-Angeles with the initial flight, said: “Launching flights to Los Angeles clearly demonstrates Transaero Airlines intention to consistently implement its plans on development air transportation between Russia and the US. We are pretty confident that the quality of our product, including our unique for this direction Imperial (first) class service, will be appreciated by our passengers”.
Flights UN557/558 are offered twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, under the following schedule (local time):
Departure from Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 3:00 pm, arrival in Los Angeles at 4:15 pm. Departure from Los Angeles at 6:20 pm, arrival in Moscow at 4:40 pm the following day.
Flights are performed with Boeing 777 aircraft which seats up to 306 passengers in four-class layout: Imperial (first service class), Premium (meets Business class standards), Economy and Tourist.
Upon arrival in Moscow passengers aboard flights from Los-Angeles can take advantage of convenient connecting flights within Transaero Airlines’ extensive flight network in Russia and abroad, including Transaero flights to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.
Los Angeles becomes the third Transaero’s destination in the US. In 2010, the carrier started operations to New York and Miami.
