Appointment of Frederic Dupont as new Head of Global Sales

 Frederic Dupont has been appointed the new Head of Global Sales of the 

Mubadala Aerospace MRO network. He will join the MRO network in April 2012 and will be reporting 
directly to Abdulla Shadid, Chief Commercial Officer of the MRO network. In his new role, he will play a 
key role in expanding the MRO network’s global customer base and position the joint product and 
service portfolio of Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT) and SR Technics. 
With more than 14 years in the aviation industry, he draws from his long-standing experience and 
excellent industry network built up in different senior sales and management positions at Pratt & 
Whitney.

record in the engines business,” said Abdulla Shadid, Chief Commercial Officer of the Mubadala 
Aerospace MRO network. “Frederic brings in a strong industry network and his great talent to help grow 
the business. He will play a key role in expanding our global markets and to develop our positioning as 
a leading MRO player.” 
In his previous role, Frederic was President and General Manager of Pratt & Whitney Engine Leasing 
LLC, where he successfully turned around operations and increased profitability. Frederic also led the 
Global Engine Service Sales team where he demonstrated his leadership skills and strategic vision, 
growing the engine centers’ sales and increasing customer relationship management. He holds an MBA 
in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and also a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture 
from the Northeastern University in Boston. 
This appointment marks a further milestone in building a truly global MRO network, as the management 
team focuses on expanding its reach and customer base. The MRO network is leveraging a valueadded 
offering that goes beyond the traditional MRO business, including technical services, supply 
chain management, technical training, financing and traditional MRO services.
