Transaero Airlines Results for January 2012
Transaero Airlines announces its operating results for the first month of 2012 which indicate steady growth of the carrier’s business during the period.
In January 2012:
• Passenger turnover reached 2.94 billion RPK (17.7% increase in comparison with the first month of 2011)
• The total number of passengers carried amounted to 603,360 (23.2% increase in comparison with the same period last year)
• Transaero transported a total amount of 3,012.41 tons of cargo (26.9% increase in comparison with January of 2011)
• Cargo traffic totaled 0.281 billion RTK (18% increase in comparison with the same period last year).
