Malaysia Airlines Appoints Rozman Omar As Group CFO

  Malaysia Airlines today announced the appointment of Rozman bin Omar as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from 14 February 2012. Rozman, age 50, will join Malaysia Airlines’ leadership team as the national carrier’s CFO following the resignation of its previous CFO at the end of last year. 




“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am pleased to welcome Rozman to Malaysia Airlines. We believe that his professional financial input and experience will be valuable to our efforts to implement the Business Plan towards profitability for our Group,” said Malaysia Airlines Group CEO, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya. 



Prior to joining Malaysia Airlines, Rozman served AirAsia Group for more than 8 years; initially as Chief Financial Officer for PT Indonesia AirAsia and from 2006 as AirAsia Berhad’s Regional Head of Finance. 



Rozman has substantial working experience in corporate finance and project advisory and is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
