Fly daily from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Abu Dhabi with airberlin
As Etihad Airways will also fly this route daily when the summer 2012 flight schedule starts, airberlin is able to offer passengers flights from Düsseldorf to Abu Dhabi twice a day. From 25th March 2012 onwards, the frequency of flights from Berlin to the Persian Gulf will increase from four a week to one a day. At the same time, airberlin plans to fly with an Airbus 330-200 from Berlin via Abu Dhabi to the Thai resort island of Phuket. Optimal connectivity options to Phuket via Abu Dhabi are available from Dusseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
Return Economy Class tickets to Abu Dhabi can be booked now from as little as €449, including taxes, fees and topbonus miles. airberlin passengers can then transfer at Abu Dhabi to connecting flights to a large number of attractive destinations, for instance to South-East Asia, China, India and Australia. The topbonus frequent flyer and Etihad Guest programs are combined, so passengers can earn status and award miles on flights operated by either airline.
Business Class passengers can enjoy the free limousine service covering a radius of 40 km around Berlin-Tegel airport. As part of this service, they are picked up from home and taken to the airport by a chauffeur. Business Class travellers can use the limousine service to get to Abu Dhabi airport from any of the United Arab Emirates. On arrival at Berlin, passengers are collected at the airport and driven to the city centre or their destination in the surrounding area.
airberlin CEO Hartmut Mehdorn said: “By adding new daily connections from Berlin and Düsseldorf to Abu Dhabi, we are reinforcing our hubs and strengthening our strategic partnership with Etihad Airways.
“Flight Guests who fly airberlin can now take daily trips to the Thai holiday island of Phuket, and our business guests will benefit from more frequent flights to Bangkok.”
