tihad Airways Bus Tour Kicks Off Its National Day Celebrations

Onboard three specially branded buses were the airline’s Cabin Crew, armed with gifts and giveaways for the people of the UAE to celebrate the nation’s 40th anniversary. 
One of the buses also featured in the celebratory Official Decorated Cars Carnival parade around Yas Island in the evening. 
Etihad Airways Vice President UAE Sales, Hareb Al Muhairi, said the airline had a whole range of celebrations planned over the coming days. 
“One of the most exciting initiatives is our Flying the Flag flight, departing from Abu Dhabi Airport at 5pm today, with an Emirati First Officer at the controls. The aircraft will fly over the seven emirates, with scheduled stops at Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Al Ain airports. 
“The 40th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates is such a special occasion, and all of us at Etihad Airways look forward to celebrating with the people of the UAE during the National Day celebrations.”
