Air Pacific: Menzies Aviation for Ground Handling Services in Australia

Air Pacific has confirmed a new five-year partnership with Menzies Aviation to handle its ground operations in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne airports. The decision to re-contract our ground-handling in Australia is part of Air Pacific’s on-going business operations assessment and cost-cutting measures, where all vendor contracts were reviewed.

Menzies Aviation, one of the world’s largest providers of ground-handling services, was chosen as a result of comprehensive evaluations of proposals for the provision of passenger and ramp-handling services in Australia. Menzies will begin handling Air Pacific flights from today (Wednesday 16th November) in Sydney and Brisbane, and Friday 18th November in Melbourne.

This new contract with Menzies Aviation replaces Air Pacific’s previous arrangement with Qantas for ground-handling services in Australia. Air Pacific check-in counters and baggage pick-up areas all remain in the same location, and our passengers can expect the same high quality services as they have always experienced.
