Agoda.com partners with Cebu Pacific Air to offer greater travel savings
Agoda.com, a leading hotel booking website and part of Nasdaq-listed Priceline Group (Nasdaq: PCLN), today announced a partnership with the Philippines’ largest national flag carrier Cebu Pacific Air (PSE: CEB).
Cebu Pacific Air operates flights from their Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao hubs to 34 domestic and 17 international routes, with major destinations including Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Beijing. CEB currently utilizes ten Airbus A319, 18 Airbus A320 and eight ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of Asia’s youngest fleets.
Thanks to the partnership, CEB’s customers can enjoy instant access to agoda.com hotel deals in the airline’s route destinations. Customers can search hotels directly through CEB’s webpage, enjoying instant confirmation and savings of up to 75 percent. Every agoda.com booking also earns customers Rewards Points, which can be used to reduce the cost of future hotel stays.
“We are very glad to be in partnership with agoda.com as we bring exclusive travel deals to our guests. Now CEB’s guests not only get to enjoy our trademark low fares but also catch unbeatable deals for hotel accommodation easily and conveniently online,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution.
Ernst Hemmer, Senior Commercial Director at agoda.com, commented: “When you consider the fantastic destinations Cebu Pacific Air serves and the fast growing markets that choose this airline, we think agoda.com’s unmatched hotel inventory in Asia makes this a great pairing. We look forward to working closely with the team at Cebu Pacific Air in making travel more exciting and more affordable for their customers.”
