Vueling increases by 10.5% the number of passengers carried in October

Vueling, the new generation airline, has carried 1,079,206 passengers in October 2011. This represents a 10.5% increase compared to October 2010. The company has reached a load factor of 76.8%, 1.8 points higher than last year.

Connecting flights and new bases

Vueling continues its growth driven by the new international bases in Toulouse and Amsterdam and the Vueling-Vueling connecting flights in Barcelona and Vueling-Iberia connecting flights in Madrid and Barcelona. The winter season started on the 31st of October, Vueling plans to increase the number of seats offered by 8% during this winter season. This increase includes the launch of five new routes from Barcelona airport.
