XL AIRWAYS FRANCE SELECTS A J WALTER AVIATION

A J Walter Aviation, the world’s leading independent aircraft support specialist, has been awarded a 5 year contract to provide power-by-the-hour support to the XL Airways France B737NG aircraft fleet. This is especially important to AJW since it is the Company’s first PBH contract in the French aviation market and its first at Charles De Gaulle Airport where it will position consignment stock to support the XL fleet.

AJW has enjoyed considerable success in the European market in recent years and is pleased to be able to add Paris to its network of strategic hubs across the continent servicing airlines out of Berlin, Prague, Copenhagen, London and Manchester also.

XL Airways France is based at Charles de Gaulle Airport and its international flight network includes destinations such as Mexico, the Maldives, the Dominican Republic, the USA, Greece, Corsica and Italy. For the last 4 years XL Airways France has also enjoyed the market leading position for its services from France to the Dominican Republic and the Maldives.
