Direct flights to the Caribbean from the most powerful hub in Europe
Air France’s main operating hub at Paris-Charles de Gaulle hub is the most powerful in Europe in terms of connections. The company’s network of long-haul and medium-haul flights makes connections to flights of under two hours to 49 European cities traveling to / from Fort-de-France and 41 European cities to / from Pointe–à-Pitre.
Air France is developing a number of services to facilitate the rapid and efficient transfer of connecting passengers. European passengers traveling to or from the Caribbean will be checked-in and receive their boarding pass to their final destination; luggage also will be checked directly to the final destination. In each terminal, teams at “Connections” stands will be on-hand to answer any questions and help passengers on their way.
These two new routes complement the 26 routes Air France offers from Paris-Orly and further strengthens the company’s leading position to these destinations.
“Through our attractive offer, with its flexibility and easy connections, Air France and its 500 employees in the region are proud to contribute to the development of tourism in these two beautiful islands,” said Alain Malka, Air France KLM CEO for the Caribbean and Indian Ocean.
